Check the County Council meeting schedule for Council and Committee meeting dates and times. Council meetings are usually scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM.
The public is invited to speak in the Council Meeting for three minutes before each item of legislation is voted on and then again before the Meeting is adjourned.

The County Council is the legislative branch of New Castle County government. The Council body includes 13 Council members elected from each of 12 districts and the Council President, who is elected at-large.
